Obituary of Chau N. Thai
Our Heavenly Father welcomed home his faithful servant, Chau Ngoc Thai, 70, on May 18, 2015 in Westminster, California. She was born on July 16, 1944 in the province of My Tho, South Vietnam to Van Canh and Thi Tam Nguyen. From Vietnam, Chau moved to Longview, Texas in 1970 where she lived and raised her children. She worked for Johnny Cace's Seafood and Steak House as a waitress for 22 years. Chau was an active member of Mobberly Baptist Church and enjoyed spending her time with family and close friends. Her greatest accomplishment was receiving her United States citizenship in 1975. Chau moved to Chicago in 2007 and later settled to Westminster, CA in 2013. Chau is survived by her daughters Kim Loan Le of Chicago, IL and Adina Crafton-Crow of Santa Monica, CA and her sons, Jay Hoang Kanemitsu of Haiku, HI and John Kim Crafton of Houston, TX; her grandchildren Corinne and Kate Kanemitsu, Jennifer and Henry Le, and Taylor Crafton. A visitation to greet friends and relatives will be held at Melrose Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary, 2303 South Manchester Ave, Anaheim, CA 92802 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM, May 30, 2015. The funeral service will be held in the Melrose Abbey Chapel at 11:00AM, May 31, 2015. Flowers can be arranged through the funeral home or a memorial donation can be made to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church (In Memory of Chau Thai) 8152 McFadden Ave, Westminster, CA 92683. Her positive, friendly and giving spirit endeared her to all those around her.
