Dawn Rosaline Heslin, age 82, of Anaheim, California, passed away on August 18, 2020. Dawn Rosaline Bulluss was born on December 19, 1937 in Ballarat,Victoria, Australia to Walter Herbert Bulluss and Rosaline Elizabeth (Green) Bulluss. She was the third of four children. Her siblings were Walter, Joy, and Barry. During World War II, the family moved to Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. She married George Buell, Jr. in 1958. They had three sons: George Ransum Buell III, Christian Paul Buell, and Sean David Buell. The family enjoyed camping together, taking road trips, and swimming. Dawn worked at Park Rexall Drugs in Santa Ana, which the family owned. The family attended Emmanuel Episcopal Church from 1974 on and made many life-long friends. Once all of the boys were in school, she worked for the Anaheim School District as a Reading Lab Specialist. She regularly invited friends over for a cup of tea in the afternoon and caught up with them over lively conversation. After the passing of her first husband George in 1992, Dawn was actively involved with traveling with CFO. The adventuring spirit that she had when she left Australia at age twenty never left her. She traveled to Sri Lanka, Singapore, Kenya , Hong Kong, Peru and Europe. In 2001, Dawn married Tom Heslin. They enjoyed spending time with their grandkids. They traveled to several states in the US as well as several countries throughout the world together. They were both active in CFO as coordinators and campers. Dawn had been cared for at home by Tom, her faithful and loving husband. Dawn’s sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren were able to say goodbye to her at her home. Dawn passed peacefully in her sleep on August 18, 2020. It’s hard to say goodbye but we know that she is with Jesus her Savior now. We praise God for His blessings and assurance that we do have an eternal life once we leave this mortal life. She is survived by her husband, Thomas, three sons: George (Inga), Chris (Melissa) and Sean (Brandy), stepdaughter Kristal, and ten grandchildren: Shaine, Kyle, Erik, Lukas, Calvin, Wyatt, Eden, Sage, Ailin, and Johnnie.
