Obituary of Rajnikant Muljibhai Parmar
Rajni Parmar was born in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania to parents Muljibhai and Veluben Parmar. He moved to the US in 1974, and had well oer a 25 year career at Northrop Grumman, later retiring in 2002. His wife Vanita raised two children, Vipul and Krishna, and is survived by all including three lovely grand daughters. Rajni excelled in sports while in High School, participating in Track, Jiu Jitsu, and of course Volleyball. He later joined Vyamshala Volley Club, and later was one of five candidates considered for Tanzania's Sportsman of the Year. When he and his family migrated to Los Angeles, he continued his passion by being one of the original members of Hindu Sports Club. He is most proud of seeing this organization grow. Competition, friendships, and a strong social circle turned into a second family. Rajni was the ultimate father and grandfather. He was a gentle giant full of jokes and laughter. There was not a birthday or event that he missed. His grand daughters share many, many stories of playful exchanges. He provided short and common sense advise and mentored so many of us. He will be missed dearly by all. Please sign Rajni's online guest book by clicking HERE
