So sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. Even Jesus gave way to tears (John 11:35) when his friend Lazarus died, even though Jesus knew he was given the power by his Father to resurrect him. Our loving heavenly Father, whose personal name is Jehovah, has given us a future beautiful promise at Revelation 21:4 which states; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." There are many scriptures to tell us know that Jehovah hears our cries of distress and that he is there for us (Psalms 9:9, 34:18, 50:15).
