Obituary of Phi The Nguyen

Nguyen The Phi, 88, entered Eternal Life at 4:14 pm with his family surrounding his bedside on Sundays, April 17, 2016. He married the love of his life Nguyen Thi Kim Lien on 1966. He was born on October 18, 1928 in Go Cong, Vietnam. He was journalist for Kyodo Press, Saigon Guardian and Hoa Binh Newspaper in Saigon-Southern Vietnam before 1975. He was in Reeducation camp, it is the official title given to the prison camps operated by the Communist government of Vietnam following the end of the Vietnam War. Then he and his wife immigrated to the US on 1999. He went to college and got AA degree at 79 of his age. He loves paint, write, play Harmonica and take care of his family. He always sacrificed his needs for the good of his family. He is survived by his wife, one son,two daughters, and three grandchildren. Phi will be remembered as selfless, altruistic, generosity and kind husband/father. He will be missed by his wife, children, grandchildren and friends. We will all miss the joy and love that he brought into our lives and we couldn't be more proud of him.
