Jacoba Flores Windmann, 93, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2012 in Peoria, AZ, after a period of declining health. Born in Delia, NM, she was the youngest child of Daniel Flores and Simona Marquez de Flores. The family spent most of their lives in Arizona. Jacoba is survived by her daughter, Marta Long of Washington, DC, and a large, extended family in Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire and New York. Jacoba will be remembered as unique and very special. There will be a private service and interment in California on Monday, November 18, 2012. Jacoba will join Fred Windmann, the love of her life, at Fairhaven Memorial Park and Mortuary in Santa Ana, CA.
