Phyllis Ann Yale, 10/8/1939-7/11/2012. Phyllis was born in Bedford, Indiana in 1939 to Marjorie Lucille Chastain. At the age of 7, Phyllis and her mother moved to San Francisco, CA and later to Southern California. She graduated Banning High School in 1958. She earned a A.A. degree from Santa Ana College in 1983 and a B.A. degree from California State University, Fullerton in 1985. She earned a Master of Arts in English from California State University, Fullerton in 1987. Phyllis was active in the early stages of the computer industry in the 1960's. She was part of the founding team of General Automation, a computer manufacturer which expanded internationally and was publicly traded on the American Stock Exchange. Phyllis gave birth to her only son, Roburt Yale, in 1973. She became the loving proud grandmother of Natalie Rose Yale in 2007. A full life of love, love of education, business, travel and family. Phyllis will be missed. Services entrusted to Melrose Abbey Mortuary.
