Mrs. Vu was born on April 6,1935 in Ha Noi, Vietnam. Her family migrated to the US in 1992. She passed away peacefully on Aug. 5th 2011 surrounded by her loving family in her final hours. Mrs. Vu was an Elementary teacher in Vietnam for 21 years. She loves cooking, being around children and taking care of household work. She is survived by her husband, Dai Tran and daughters, Nga Tran, and Ngan (Nancy) Tran as well as son in laws, grandchildren along with many extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011 from 12pm-8pm in the Abbey Chapel. Buddhist rights will be on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011 beginning at 9am in the Abbey Chapel. Cremation will immediately follow at Melrose Abbey Memorial Park Crematory.
