Dear ZoeAnn, Ailsa, Nick and family, My heart goes out to each and every one of you. I wish I was there with you today. I loved Francisco very much. I have wonderful memories of him from the time I was young. I remember being the flower girl in Francisco and ZoeAnn's wedding. I loved looking up at Francisco when I was scared to walk down the aisle and he helped to calm my nerves. He was always welcoming to us when we came to visit in California. My husband, Kent, has shared how lucky he feels to have spent time with Francisco over the past eight years. He has good memories of dinners at ZoeAnn and Francisco's home, going to baseball games with him, and spending time in San Antonio with him. Francisco was a man who highly valued his family and anyone could see that in the way he lived his life. He was full of respect for others around him and usually had a smile on his face when I was around. I treasure the times that we had together. My birthday every year had special meaning because we shared the same day. This year he would have been 60 years old when I turn 40. There will be a hole left there on December 6th as each year passes because I will miss him sharing our birthday. He was a wonderful uncle and I will always miss him very much. Love Always, Shannon
