Obituary of Kelly Nguyen Pham

Kelly Nguyen Pham was born on August 23, 1989 in Saigon, Vietnam. Her family migrated to the United States in 1990. Kelly graduated UCLA in June 2010. She was accepted to Loyola Marymount Law School, and had plans to begin school in August 2011. On July 24, 2011, Kelly was a passenger in a car driving home from a celebration with her friend, when the car lost control and hit a tree. She was rushed to UCI Medical Center where she later passed away. Kelly was one month away from turning 22. She leaves behind, her mother Ann Trang Nguyen and father My Pham, along with many extended family and friends wo will miss her dearly. May God guide her in her new journey, and may she always look down on us smiling as she did when she was living amongst us. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011 from 10am-5pm and 6pm-9pm in the Abbey Chapel, with a Vigil service at 6:30pm. Mass of Christian burial will be on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 10am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 10827 S. Pioneer Blvd., Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670 (562) 863-8734. Interment will immediately follow at Olive Lawn Memorial Park 13926 La Mirada Blvd., La Mirada, CA 90638. Services entrusted to Melrose Abbey Mortuary.
