<p>christmas with mom</p>its been 2 Christmas since you left but its been longer since you had suffered from dementia. I always remember the Christmas that we gave you martinelli apple cider and you thought it was alcohol. we tried our best to convince you its non-alcoholic but you were so convinced you're drunk, that you acted like a silly drunk person all night. I laughed because you looked so free....you have been so disciplined by your parents, dad and everyone to be a good pastor's wife that the idea of being drunk made you feel soooo free. Do you remember the one Christmas that we wrapped presents and you forgot to labeled them and we couldn't figure out who gets what....and we had to reopen all of them and re-wrapped again. I'm so sorry I blamed you, I saw you were so frustrated because you were already losing your memory. I should know better. My punishment is that every-time Christmas comes by, I have to wrap the presents myself and think about how much I would trade to have you wrap them for me. This Christmas, I was invited to sing in a choir, although I do not have your voice, I sang a song titled 'I thank my god for you'..... and I do thank god for you, to have blessed me with a mom like you. I love you and admired you, your son.
