Obituary of Joshua Bruce Malenke

Joshua Bruce Malenke, age 22 of Uniontown, PA, died suddenly on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 in Los Angeles, California, following a traffic accident. He was born on February 15, 1989 in Uniontown, and is the son of Faith (Hopler) Malenke-Kaylor of Uniontown, and the late Bruce R. Malenke. Joshua was a student at Waynesburg University, currently attending a semester at the Los Angeles Film School, Los Angeles, CA. In addition to his mother Faith Malenke -Kaylor and stepfather Chet Kaylor, he is survived by a brother, West Malenke and wife Willie, a sister, Hope Malenke Bennett and husband Tom, all of Cleveland, GA; his niece, Gloriella Bennett; grandparents, Parker and Marie Malenke of Parker Ford, PA; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends will be received in The Abundant Life Church, 1239 Brownfield Road, Uniontown, PA on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 from 3 p.m until 7 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow at 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening, with Pastor Rev. Nicholas Cook, and Rev. Phillip Harrison Officiating. The Graveside Committal Service, and interment will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Abundant Life Church, 1239 Brownfield Rd., Uniontown, PA, 15401, for the youth mission trips, or for the Hekima Orphanage in Africa. Melrose Abbey Mortuary assisted with services.
