You are at peace and pain-free with loved ones in Heaven, and our joy in this truth knows no bounds! Born in Kansas, Charmaine lived and worked her whole life in California. After 32 years with the Santa Ana Police Dept. she retired in 2003. She passed away after an 11-month fight with pancreas cancer at her home in Buena Park, in the loving care of her daughter, Dawn. Ms. Lucas is survived by her sister, Chere Geske; her children, Rebecca Lippert, Brad Morgan, Dawn Daddato, Eve Lucas, Jack Lucas and Jill Lucas; her 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and beloved dog, G-Odi. Her ashes rest at Melrose Abbey in Anaheim where a memorial marker will be placed by the headstone of her parents, Bill W. and Maxine Colburn. Services entrusted to Melrose Abbey Mortuary.
