Passed away on August 13, 2010 with her dear care- taker, Ramona, by her side. Jody, as she was known to her friends and family, was born on May 22, 1931 in Franklin County, Arkansas to Henry and Lula Peters. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Cecil, Francis, Ruby, Vic, Ruth and Gelene and leaves behind her youngest siblings Harold and Dixie. Marsha York, Bill Nichols, Sandy Morash, David Nichols and Craig Haley all feel blessed to have had Jody as their mother and Jody in turn was blessed with 10 grandchildren. Jody will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2010 ~ 10am at First Baptist Church, 2415 6th Street (cross street G Street), La Verne, CA 91750. Interment will follow at La Verne Cemetery, 3201 North B Street, La Verne, CA 91750. Services entrusted to Melrose Abbey Mortuary, Anaheim, CA
