Obituary of Rudy Edward Martinez
Rodolfo “Rudy” Edward Martinez was born on February 7, 1988, in the city of Long Beach, CA. Rudy grew up in a close-knit family in El Monte, CA. Rudy was the third born of seven children.
Rudy was a gifted athlete who showed exceptional skills as a baseball player since childhood and continued to excel in adolescence. He had a great passion for baseball and football, and his favorite team were the Dodgers and the Cowboys. Rudy was always willing to try new things and would work hard to master any skill he didn't know.
Rudy had a deep passion for music and enjoyed listening to all types of genres. Unsurprisingly, he eventually learned how to play the drums and guitar by himself. You could hardly find a moment when he was not strumming his guitar or beating his hands to a rhythm he created in his mind.
He expressed his affection through humor and pranking his family members. Rudy's infectious smile will always be remembered.
Rudy was a proud father to four beautiful daughters: Annalise, Alynna, Mariah, and Gabriella. They brought so much happiness to his life.
Rudy unexpectedly passed away at the age of 35 years on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, in Fullerton, CA. He is survived by his parents, siblings, daughters, nieces/nephews, and extended family. Rudy will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In lieu of flowers, we kindly request you to consider making a donation to New Wine Church or the River’s Edge Ranch. These two programs were highly significant in Rudy’s life. Furthermore, we would like to remind you that the GoFundMe page is still open to accept donations. The remaining funds raised will be evenly distributed amongst Rudy’s four daughters.
