Obituary of Sari Casar

Sari Casar 
June 11, 1949 – April 26, 2023

On April 26, 2023, Sari Casar, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away at the age of 73.  Sari was born in Bangkok, Thailand.  She received her BA degree in accounting from Chulalongkorn University in 1971 and immigrated to the United States to complete her post-graduate work. Sari was awarded a Master’s Degree in Economics from Long Beach State in 1974 and began her forty-five-year career as a real estate broker. Sari married Doug Casar in 1983 and raised two children, Justin and Marissa in Cerritos.

Sari’s passion for Real Estate and helping people was known by all. She was a top Real Estate broker and won numerous awards for her achievements, hard work, and dedication. She was the top agent of Realty World, C21 Wise O' Owl, and Century 21 Astro. Sari was well-loved for her friendly, generous nature and her compassion for helping others.

To honor her charitable nature, in lieu of flowers or gifts we instead ask for donations to be made to the following non-profit organizations:

• PATH (Los Angeles Non-Profit for Homelessness)
• Long Beach Rescue Mission (Long Beach Non-Profit for Homelessness)

A memorial service will be held May 13, 2023, at the Melrose Abbey Memorial Park & Mortuary at 9:30 AM.
