Obituary of Tong Van Nguyen

Tong was born on November 5, 1940, in Vietnam. He was the first born in the family. It was there that he met and married his wife “Ngoc Loan.” They were married over 40 years; it was a true testament of their love and commitment. They built a beautiful life together and eventually had two children of their own in addition to the two he already had.

In 1997, they moved to the United States and made it their home. He enjoyed gardening and making improvements to their home. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family.

He passed away peacefully, surrounded by those that loved him.

Tong was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He will be remembered most for being a hard working man and for his life long dedication to his family.

He is survived by his wife Ngoc Loan, his children, Katie, Terry, Phong, and Loan, his grandchildren, Leroy, Stella, Vu, Han, Nguyen and Thao, his daughter in law’s Tam, Tram, and his son in law Chau.
