John, What a wonderful life Edith led. You have my sympathies. I wish I would have visited with her at Ice Lake when I saw her the last time at Angeli's when she told me to call and come to visit. I met her several times at Angeli's when she was home in Iron River and we did visit for a few minutes each time. She was a wonderful Lady. I remember your Grandma Selma visiting often with my Grandma Signe (Sena) Johnson and her Studebaker truck parked at the bottom of Grandma's driveway. I would like to be there when she comes to join your Dad in the Bates Cemetery. In their earlier retired years they always walked on our road (South Ice Lake Rd) . Your Dad was always a special guy when we visited in passing on the road. I really enjoyed anytime we met they were so positive and fun to talk to.
