Dr Tan cared for me while I was a young boy in Winnipeg, Manitoba around 1965-66. He and his wife Bella were excellent family friends. He always referred to me as "old man" when asking how I had been doing. He was very good with children. Although we have not seen each other for decades, I will always remember his bedside manner. My condolences to the entire Tan family.
