Obituary of Marjorie Martin Morris
Nee Bomhoff, Marjorie Martin Morris Native of Kansas transplanted to California during the Great Depression. She was the wife of two, the widow of one. Marjorie graduated from Santa Ana High School in 1944. She was a competent book-keeper, an excellent homemaker, and a good baker (yeast always rose for her) She was adept with a sewing machine and all manner of household tools. Few could out walk her in a pair of high heels. The profound grief in her life was the loss of her son and son-in-law in Vietnam in 1968. Marjorie's daughter remembers with loving gratitude the many childhood trips to the library, he mother teaching her how to drive when Dad had given up, and the encouragement and support given her daughter during college. Marjorie is survived by her daughter and grandson. She is interred among family at Melrose Abbey Memorial Park, Anaheim, CA.
