David Vasquez Medina, 57, of Anaheim died October 24, after a long time battle with diabetes, at his home with his family at his side. He was born to the late Merced and Francesca Medina, December 29, 1956 in Orange, Ca. He attended school in the Anaheim school district and graduated from Katella High School. Dave enjoyed playing the trumpet, piano, guitar and singing. After graduating from school he began his first job at Lynbrook Carpets, where he learned how to install carpet. He made his career as a carpenter specializing flooring. On his free time you could find him fishing at local lakes and beaches with his son, Mark and friends. David is survived by his son, Mark Anthony, grandsons Anthony and Abel, Uncle Anthony Vasquez of Colorado, Brothers Javier Medina of Corona, Arthur Medina of Anaheim, Alfonso Medina of Alabama, Sisters Celia Medina and Magdalena Salisbury of Anaheim. Predeceased by sisters, Guadalupe Becerra and Rosario Xochihua. Memorial service to take place on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 1pm at Melrose Abbey Memorial Park, Anaheim, CA
