Kathleen Noorunisa Frederick, born in Meriden, CT., found her true home among an amazing community of friends in Novato, CA. She had remarkable talents and created beauty and a lasting treasure for her family through her artwork. Her greatest gift and pleasure, though, seemed to come from her working with children to help them succeed academically. Kathleen died June 3, 2014 after a valiant battle with colon cancer. She was the daughter of Kathleen S. Frederick and the late Edward C. Frederick. She is survived by her sisters Elizabeth and Alison, her brother Edward, her niece Sarah and nephews Bryan and Brendan, alone with their spouses and children. A gathering of friends and family will be held June 12, 2014. Funeral services arranged by her family will be held in Southern California.
