Remembering Kathleen Noorunisa Frederick: her elegance, the way she had of transforming even the simplest action like drinking tea into a refined dance of appreciation, her unerring sense of color reflected in her art and the way she dressed. Her intense gaze when she encountered an idea she saw as self-serving or negative, and how gently she pointed out other viewpoints. Her courage in the face of health challenges, and her faith in Jesus that transformed in the crucible of pain to certainty. And her shining eyes and big smile! Here's to you, kid; ya did good!
