Obituary of Sue Kint

Please share a memory of Sue to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Born to Korean parents in Japan, Sue Kint moved to South Korea as a young girl. As a young lady, she moved to the United States during her college years. Sue attended Ewha Women's University in Seoul, Korea and completed her bachelor's degree at California State University at Los Angeles, majoring in finance and law. The American Biographical Institute lists Sue as one of 2000 Notable American Women. Sue Kint was founder and CEO of Kint and Associates, an international consulting and trading firm, which represents American companies and promotes their business interests abroad for export of process technologies, functional ingredients and specialized production equipment in the food industry. In addition, Sue was owner and president of Kintech USA, which distributes and markets Enspri Skincare items. She was involved in numerous civic organizations and served on the Board of Trustees, Orange County World Affairs Council; Advisory Commission for Orange County District Attorney's Office; Chapman University Board of Governors, Lincoln Club of Orange County; and Republican Senate Inner Circle. While serving on the Chapman University Board of Governors, Sue has supported myriad university initiatives, including the Leatherby Libraries Endowment, the Argyros Global Citizens Plaza, American Celebration, and the Women of Chapman. For her tireless efforts, Chapman University has recently conferred her an Honorary Doctor of the University Degree. Sue has been a longtime supporter and member of U.S. Representative Ed Royce's Asian Pacific Community Advisory Council (APCAC) and, in a related arena, served on the National Unification Advisory Council, Orange County Chapter, as an appointee by South Korea's former President Lee Myung Bak and current President Geun-hye Park. In recent years, Sue was diagnosed with 4th stage lung cancer which she fought with courage, dignity, grace and with a very positive attitude. Despite her condition, she kept her strong-will and desire to live a fulfilling life, always encouraging others to dream big and reach their full potential. Sue is an exemplary woman of distinction who truly lived a life of integrity and compassion. After courageously battling cancer for more than two years, Sue left us to be with God on June 19, 2014 at 6:03 am. She was surrounded by her family members who loved and cared for her unconditionally. She passed away peacefully in her own home as her sister Mimi and brother Kevin were at her bedside. She will be truly missed by many whose lives Sue has touched. Sue will always be remembered as her spirit lives on. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, 2:00pm on July 19, 2014 at the Grace Ministries International, Miracle Center Main Sanctuary, on 1645 W. Valencia Drive in Fullerton.
